Wire is shorted somewhere in the turn signal circuit. Start at the bulb and trace backwards looking for a break in a wire or a pinched wire. These problems are difficult to find and take a lot of time....
Good Luck.
Also. DO NOT TRY A FUSE LARGER THAN 10 AMP unless you want a toasted car...
same problem here as well. I'm going to try and replace the ignition cylinder. Does yours start? Mine starts, but can't get out of park unless I move key to run (put in neutral) and start again, Issue dash is going crazy and running light are flickering. I noticed yesterday that the turn signal lever is hot, so it might be some short in the steering column
doesn't sound like transmission fluid in my experience if transmission fluid is low your gears will slip or not work at all, sound to me your spark plugs or bad gas or something in that order.
This vehicle has a timing chain. It is located behind sepentine/alternator belt. Behind there is the timing cover which needs to be removed to inspect timing chain. I would suspect a bad fuel pump or crank sensor or ignition control module. These compenents fail the most at my shop.
As long as you KNOW the starter is good, it might be a sensor that makes sure that your car is in park. Could also be your ignition cylinder (what you put your key in to start the car).
Misfiring could be a number of things, but since the V6 has the coil right over the plugs it narrows it down a bit. I would first replacing the spark plugs (and MAKE SURE you gap them correctly). Use platinum. It will be a super pain in the **** to get to because you have to remove the entire intake manifold (the top part of the engine). That's a good place to start.
Put a can of seafoam in your gas tank too. That should clean out your fuel system. You can pick that up at most any autoparts store. I think walmart might have it too.
Replace The Throttle Positioning Sensor...When you put Accelerator to the floor ... It rolls the Position Sensor Cam to tell computer etc to put Injectors Etc..into cold start mode...as soon as the motor fires..injectors take over and do their job..The Black smoke is the Extra Gas Put it cylinders to Purge it in a cold Start Mode...Throttle Positioning Sensor..and Yes You Can do It.!!! AutoZone-O'Reillys Etc..Easy Fix !! And Remember Castrol GTX-5-30/ 10-30 !!!
For God Sakes DO NOT Run 5-20 Or 20-50 Tooo Thin- Tooo Thick !! -Thanks-Matthew
It's not the oil pressure, oil is full......only when I put gas, it won't start.
