My jag wont start

went out of town and came back home to find my jag s-type dead. before I went out of town I took it to the dealer and he told me I need to get my head gasket on the driver side replaced because it has a small leak, but he told me it was fine to drive home and I should bring it when I return. But when I got home I found the battery dead. So I took the battery to get charged at Auto Zone. Then when I got the battery back in the car it still wouldn’t start. NOW instead of turning over it just clicks and when I take out the key the oil, seat belt and right turning signal light all stay on.

Someone please help me!!

My car was running fine, i took the key out to come in my home an when i went back out to key into the car everything was dead, my key allowed me to unlock the car but dose nothing else,

must have a short somewhere or alternator must be dead or dying that would kill the battery and kill pretty much everything in your car.

I have a 2013 Chevy Tahoe with an unexplained battery drain, what could it be? help please

You could have a parasitic drain. Something that is left on in the car and drains the battery. It could also be a corroded terminal on the battery where the alternator is not getting power to charge the battery . Clean the post and the connector of all deposits and install those felt washers under the terminals to impede further corrosion.

My van is a 1996 chrysler town & country ; i was driving and it shuts off and then i turn the key and it started but after that went to the store just just fine when came back to the van to start it...

Have the codes read. This will start you in the right direction. Quit taking advice from people who are guessing. The van died , the check engine light is on. read the codes and then we can help. Unless you want me to guess also.

2003 Acura TL Radio Code needed after battery went dead

I had the same problem. You can call any Acura dealer and tell them you are traveling out of town and you need them to look up your radio code. I live in Cleveland, and our dealerships were closed for the day. I called California, where the time zone is 3 hours behind and told them what I told you to say, and they looked up the code and gave it to me immeditley!
