2002 SENTRA GXE TRANSMISSION WORKS FINE IN REVERSR AND FIRST. TRIES TO LOCK INTO SECOND SLIPS GOES BACK TO FIRST. HAS OVERDRIVE ALSO. tRANSMISSION SHOP REBUILT IT AND NOW SAYS THAT THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH A SENSOR, BECAUSE IT DOES THE SAME THING AS BEFORE.

There is an internal problem in the transmission. That why it's default to neutral. You to replace the transmission or get rebuilt.

It sounds like the transmission is slipping and the sensor is just reporting this info and setting a code, you have made a common mistake. You likely need a transmission overhaul

this problem is caused by a defective fual gauge sending unit inside the gas tank.

buy a used unit from the junk yard.

well the low cost way to go first would be to try and change the trans fluids. If the problems still remains the it may be an internal problem

when you pulled the trunk down on the firnature it could have set the latch without it being shut look inside where the latch is put your key in the trunk lock and turn it, using you finger or somethin smaller you should be able to pull the latch back out and the trunk should close
