I suspect you have a x109 relay playing up and that is why the vehicle will not start

How to bypass immobiliser on Volkswagen 2.3i 1998 microbus

on the Vw microbuses

immobilizer may not be the cause of no start and ripping one out without know all th ewires ti disconnect gets you a whole lot more issues

flat key fob or chip battery
possible fuel pump or spark issue

can you hear the in tank electric fuel pump pumping as you crank

you can go old school and check if you have fuel to the injectors and spark to the plugs as you crank

if the engine check light is on the engine computer will have fault codes showing you the cause of the no start

My vw 1996 volksbus/microbus 2.3i , it consumes a lot of fuel im confused don't know what's the cause

Not easy to diagnose without equipment, experience and numerous tests.
Possible: Low compression, valve timing or lash, ECU defect, stuck injectors, bad wiring or spark plugs, vacuum leak. Even fuel leak possible.

Sunroof does not work, When I replaced #34 30amp fuse in the underhood fuse block it sparked so I left it alone. I removed the fuse block to check the wires coming into #34. There is 1 red/wht stripe wire...

Have the vehicle diagnosed by a certified electrical technician. DO NOT START CUTTING WIRES just to try and "bypass" the fuse. This fuse may be feeding more than one component and you could cause bigger problem.

I have a 1998 VW LT35 minibus which i have just bought to convert into a camper, which up to this point has been running fine, i have recently replaced the dashboard and under the steering column i found a...

Unfortunately the ignition barrel has been replaced with a new key, which has not been adapted to the immobiliser. The three core wire is from the reader coil which is supposed to fit around the ignition barrel.Obviously the key head was taped in the right position for the reader coil to read the key chip. Now the immobiliser is doing its job and cutting the ECU to stop it from running. It will take persiverance to find the right position to tape key back to coil for engine to run. Then your local VW Commercial dealership can readapt your key.

To by-pass the immobilisr wiring or wiring fix.

theres no easy way around it i,m affraid.the engine control unit needs to see a signal from the immobilizer to allow the car to start.if it was easy to bypass there would be no point.i assume the car starts and cuts straight out ?.that is the symptom you should have.have you had it diagnosed ?.most immobilizer issues on a polo aint to expensive to sort.
A bypass is not a option though sorry.
