When you unplug the cam sensor it runs?what that mean is that most likely your sensor is bad..reason for that is when your cam sensor is out you unplug it...it will run because it forces the computer to get a reading/signal from the crankshaft sensor or somewhere else like that..and when you plug it in it is getting a bad reading from the cam sensor wich will cause it not to run..so my advise is your cam sensor is bad..
SOURCE: were is the Camshaft sensor in the engine?

I can only get my 300m with a 3.5 liter v6 to start with the cam sensor either unhooked or pulled out of the hole and away from metal.
I did a motor swap (old motor still ran, just squealed alot because of some issue internally) and the new used motor wont start, I swapped my known working cam sensor over and still no start. I only get spark on cylinders 1 and 4. Then if I unplug the cam sensor it gets spark on all 6 and runs...
Could the cam sensor that came with my used motor AND my prior known working cam sensor both have failed??
what if the sensor is new
