Where is the Duralast/Vapor Canister on a 2004 chevy cavalier

My car broke down and some stranger walked up and began TAKING APART my car! He took off the Duralast/Vapor Canister and I need to know how do I put it back on, step by step? Do i need to do other things as well before trying to start the car to ensure that everything runs correctly?

SOURCE: 1994 chevy cavalier fan belt came off how to put back

Depending on how much of the bolt broke , you may be able to get it out wit a pair of vise grips or an extractor bolt. If it broke flush to the engine block you'll have to drill it out and try to exctract the rest. I would highly recomend leaving this part for a mechanic with experience to do because if you don't do it right it will cause more damage than you want to deal with. at this point I would say to have it towed to a shop and let them extract the broken bolt. this is not something you want to try yourself if you haven't done it before. Best of luck

SOURCE: chevy lumina, lost keys, broke ignition, need to fix the wires

Solder and shrink tubing work fine for that. That is for the pk2 theft module that tells the car that you are using the correct key with the chip in it.

SOURCE: How does the back seats fold down in a 2004 Chevy

In the trunk on the top there are two straps that look like they go on a back pack, just behind the split in the seat. You need to pull those down and it undoes a latch on the back of the seats, which then you can fold them down. Good luck and enjoy your Cavalier.

Where is the vapor canister on a 2007 Chevy Impala SS?

Have you changed your fuel cap? That is usually the culprit. If that doesn't solve your issue, a simple smoke test will show you where the system is leaking.

2004 chevy cavalier wi'll not start unless I keep my foot on gas. Found out when I unplug the vapor canister purge line from the engine to my solenoid the car runs fine and starts fine.

Replace the vapor canister purge line it is probably clod. Just be careful these small cavaliers don't get much space to work with.

You can smell gas all around the car, but cannot tell that any gas is leaking. The vapor canister looks fine, but can see gas below the engine on the tyrod connector.

Check fuel lines that run up side of engine. Lots of times they can chaffe against block and leak. Also be careful when filling car, if you top tank to top of fill neck that puts pressure on lines to canister where canister will fill w/fuel and literally ruin vapor canister.
