SOURCE: 2000 pontiac montana wipers stuck
This has happened a couple of times on my 1999 Pontiac Montana. Here's what I did to fix. Open the hood. Remove the shield over the the wiper cam mechanism on the passengers side. This is easy to access. Road salts and other dust and dirt gets in there and causes the sticking problem. Spray WD-40 in between the parts. Get in there with that little red spray straw and saturate it good, flush junk out. Get in the car and try the wipers. If I remember, you might have to manually place that little knob or lever on top of the cam in the opposite position to get it to resync, but try it first. Be sure the wipers are off when you're spraying the WD-40 so you don't injur your hands. I've had to do this twice and it worked both times.
SOURCE: 2002 Pontiac Montana Thermostat replacement
check the coolant level fiirst...if that is low it wont give you any heat.....to change the thermostat you have to follow the top radiator hose to the engine.at the send of it you will see a clamp take it loose...then you will see the thermostat housing its held in place by 2 bolts . once you remove them you have the thermostat....make sure you clean all the old gasket material off both the housing and mount.also make sure you get a new gasket.
SOURCE: Timing off on Pontiac Montana wipers
On top of the window motor there is a timing cam -- there is a little tab on the bottom that is most likely broken or bent. You need to replace the cam.
SOURCE: 2002 Pontiac Montana, No Heat, I put the temp control on
the cabel from the heat dial to the heater box behind the dash could be snaped or jamed thus not opperating the lever which operates the flap which open and closes the heat box next to the matrix. or if your coolant is brown in colour it could be your matrix is clogged with sedament and needs flushing out. or it could be your water pump not pumping coolant round your engine or it could be a knackerd thermostat i hope these will help you id start with the easyest first thermostat
SOURCE: Where is the air conditioner refrigerant refill
Look near the radiator and find the 2 aluminum lines running from the condenser. If you trace those lines you will find a fitting on each of them. There should be a cap on them one says H or high and the other L or low. One is the high pressure line and the other is the low pressure line. Please be careful fooling with the AC system can be very dangerous to you and your car. The last thing you want is a face full of prion. Or to blow up your AC system because you over charged it. Good luck.
