Alarm goes off erradically
You will need the dealer to scan the VATS system and see what is going on, otherwise you are just guessing and that can get real expensive. Pay to have the diagnostics done and ten to save money install what is needed yourself.

Had the same problem with my 2006 Uplander.
Sanded the door contacts and the pins with 80 grit emory cloth.
They get a glaze on them over time.It solved the problem.
Peace and quiet after 3 days of chimes.

Leaving one of the pass keys in the ignition and locking the doors with the remote has given us temporary relief. We are obviously uncomfotable with this as a long term solution. Tried cleaning the contacts on the sliding doors, no change. We just realised that the problem started after the last oil change and interior cleaning. Any ideas???
