under the timing chain cover on the front of the engine

it should have a release button on the top by the door.

Sounds like you need a new fuel pump. They are located in the tank.

Its inside the tank. Has to come down to get to it. Also replace the filter.

No need to tear the dash out. The blower is located above the passenger's feet, below the glove compartment. You access it from underneath. Three small black bolts hold it on and there is a two wire electrical connector on the bottom that must be removed. The motor drops down with the fan blade attached. Should take about 5 or 10 minutes to remove.

I have a '93 SL2 and the interior is the same as an SL1 or 2 from '92, '93, '94 and maybe even a '95.

That car will not be OBD 2, they did not start OBD 2 until 95 or 96 The data link connector will be OBD1.
