The rear wiper on my 2003 Jeep Liberty does not work. We took it into a shop, which initially tried replacing the motor. This did not work, and since they did not do electrical work, did not investigate further. What else could be wrong with the wiper, and how much will it cost to repair?
Check fuse number 9 a 50 amp fuse in the power distribution center under the hood and fuse number 17 a 15 amp fuse in the junction block . The ground wire near the wiper motor may be bad and its possible the switch position for the rears may be bad.
I have the same issue, rear wiper not working, washer works, glass indicator is flashing in the odometer.. is there a micro switch in the latch lock??
If there is a separate switch for the rear wiper there might be a separate fuse. Check to see if your rear window cleaner works. If it doesn't check your fuse. If it does work i suggest that you replace the switch or check the connections of the switch. I hope this helps.
How is it not working, entirely not running, or just doesn't come in contact with the glass?

Mine is working very slowly and seems to struggle acrossed the window. It does not make a full sweep acrossed the window. It stops short ....It just started. I washed my Jeep on Friday in a laser wash, could that have done anything? I
