Can't get fluid from wiper fluid tank

Most newer cars have the module built into the wiper motor. They can go bad and run on any mode. Yours happens to be washer mode. I would replace the motor.

There is a seperate tank.

not to be a smart @ss but is there fluid in the tank? Hose might be plugged to nozzle, remove hose from nozzle and see if anything comes out of the hose when you push button. if it does nozzle might be plugged. Use alittle Compressed air, to back feed through nozzle from outside to inside. Need more info: temps outside, kind of vehicle (year make and model) check fuses for washer fluid?

The switch in the stick your pushing is bad

You need to unplug the pump motor on the reservoir tank. A lot of times there is a buildup of corrosion. Please clean connection and verify that you do have 12+ volts at the pump. Someone will have to push mist button to see the voltage reading.

I have the same problem with my 2000 chevy blazer as skornec had posted. I kinda already figured the hose or spray nozzle was plugged. But the problem with checking those items is that I don't know where the hose is located to the back wiper. And the only thing that could be I see that could be the spray nozzle doesn't even have holes that washer fluid could spray from. So basically I just would LOVE if someone could please inform this lame brain of where to find the spray nozzle on the rear window and where in the interior of my blazer does the washer hose run.

test the wire with a multimeter see if your getting any voltage to it when you push the button

remove the hose from the wiper arm and see if when you push the washer button that the fluid comes out the hose,if it does the sprayer nozzel is plugged if not replace the pupm

Here are the following options for activating a rear wiper.

Push button the dash
Pull the wiper lever back (may activate washer fluid on some cars)
Push the wiper lever forward (may activate washer fluid on some cars)
Twist the wiper lever
Push the wiper lever tip if it has a button (may activate washer fluid on some cars)

take it back to the dealer there been a Safety Recall Notice for the Heated Washer Fluid.
it says that GM will install a wire harness with an inline fuse, and it will be installed at no charge. It also says that parts should be available on or after November 1, 2008.
