Your vehicle’s computer system has self-testing capability. When the computer senses that there is a problem with some of the components it stores the correspondent trouble code(s) in its memory and lights up the Check Engine, Service Engine Soon, ABS, VSC Or TC lights to tell you that there is a problem and you should have the car diagnosed and repaired. When there is a problem with the engine control system, any other systems that communicate with the engine control module (ECM) may turn on their indicator lights at the same time because a code has been stored in the ECM. I would take it to a service center you trust and let then come up with a solution. Sometimes a problem in one system will turn light on for other systems that communicate with it, but it doesn't mean there is a problem in those systems.

Run into a Pep Boys, or Autozone & they will do a scan for codes free of charge, that should point everyone in right direction. If codes reveal obvious fix, then grab part while your there, otherwise get back to us with the codes & we'll help you out further.
