if the anti-theft system has been activated there should be a light on the instrument cluster that is lit or flashing.if no light is on then you have a different problem.
If the car starts but the instrument panel does not lit, then check ignition, instrument cluster connector and instrument cluster. If the car also does not start , then check ignition, ignition switch, and wiring.
