When you take your foot off the accelerator the car pulls sharply too the left. what could this be.
What I would do in your case is get both of the front wheels off of the ground, and then in neutral, see if either resists when turning by hand. (Verifying the brake caliper isn't sticking) Then try moving wheel in, out up and down to see if you have excessive movement due to a bad ball joint, tie rod end, or front end part. (Make sure your tire pressure is good also.)

Loss of fuel pressure.
1. Clogged fuel filter (replace anyway)
2. Fuel pressure regulator (stays open)
3. Fuel pump

The brake caliper is locked down on the brake rotor,or the wheel bearing has gone out.

this problem could be caused by a number of things as its common rail which is electronicaly controlled but first thing i would do is to make a gasket from a coca cola can to block off the EGR valve you make the gasket the same as the old one but do not cut the middle out so it effectivly blocks it off ,if this doesnt work then its a bosch injection specialist garage to have a look as this is complicated software and i have yet to see a general garage with the right software to read anything ,its made that way iam afraid to stop general garages
