I have Daewoo Matiz 2001, every time it get the CVT warning light, the performance is very poor. As temporary it can be fixed by just stop engine and restart it. Please any one help me to find root cause and solution to fix it.
The CVT light is associated with the transmission. I don't think changing the fluid/oil in the transmission will help. you need to find a shop that can access the transmission control module to fint out ant fault codes and go from there. could be a simple speed sensor or shift control solenoid.
SOURCE: check engine warning light
have you taken it in to be diagnosed? usually car shops will hook it up to their diagnostic machine to tell you what the "code" means and why the engine light is on. they also can re-set it for you, to see if it comes back on or not. only takes a minute.
SOURCE: matiz warning light,
sounds if your eng light is on you have a choice you can stick it into garage or purchase a code reader.
SOURCE: Warning Light "Check"
could be a air flow sensor or mapping suggest that without expensive equipment ,it will be cheaper to put it in the dealers
SOURCE: Yellow engine warning light and car has rough idle
to get trouble codes you must hook up a test tool called a scanner, this interfaces with the computer in the car and pulls the codes from the computers memory.
SOURCE: Orange light( image engine) lit up while driving,
whenever this light is turned on there is a electronic engine control fault code set in the memory of the computer that controlds the system, have the OBD 2 electronic engine control system tested to determine which one of the approx 200 poss fault codes u have stored in memory

You simply can not guess at an auto repairYou have to have the cars systems looked intoby a dealer or repair shop that can scan the varioussystems & see what isn't working correctlyThat may very well be a mechanical issue with the components at the end of the cam shafts. It could also be a sensor not reading the cam movementcorrectlyNeed to have an experienced people check the carbefore you damage some part of the engine
Thank you very much for your comment, I have ask some repair shop. Some of them said that it cause from transmission oil (I don't know the technical word). However they say that they not guarantee the way they change that oil, cos they experienced problems when they change it. Some of them said they can do it. Now I am stucking whether I should change or not. Please anyone give me an idea whether I should change or not. And please let me know what is the best solution to change that oil.
Note: I am in Cambodia, technical and support over here is not qualify service provider.
