Type your comment here...i dont have a gas pressure gauge but with the car stsrted and i press the pressure releif there is a lot of gas that shoots out. I took off the EGR and cleaned off carbon build up ang replaced the gasket. Seems to run great but ill have to drive ti tommarow.TANKS FOR YOUR HELP

you need a fuel press. gage to be sure at 35psi min.
thats going to make it not shift right yes thats needs fixed but id bet thats not what you decricibing to me have you cleaned the maf sensor?
THE FUEL PRESS IS 38 , AND I DONT THINK THIS CAR HAS A MASS AIR FLOW
OR A CANT FIND IT.I AM STARTING TO NOTICE A STINKY SMELL,LIKE ROTTEN EGGS

IT has a 3.1 MPFI
i cant find any tests for crank or camshaft sensors.i found the location of the crankshaft sensor but not the camshaft sensor mabey it doesnt have one.
one of my exwifes friend stoped by,he does smogs and i told him the story, he had me start the car with the egr unpluged ,put the car in drive tapped the gas, no stalling, pluged it back in break on tap the gas and it stalled he said egr was sticking.so i took it off cleand it again inergized each of the three silanoids and they moved in (open).i put it back on did the same thing that guy had me do and it stalled both times.mabey that will help you , it just confused me ..................

i just tested the tsp and got .69in idle chilton says it should be less than 1.25 volts
wide open was 1.37 should be 5 voltz
i tested air charge temp and got 2.17olms
the air charge temp cont got 2.17
are you online at a certain time?i would like to talk back and forth instantly instead once a day
i tested the injctors and got 12.2
the camshaft sensor will be next.
i found a car at the wreckyard same engine verry clean smashed in the trunck.think i will get all of these sensors,valves,modualges and anything elese i can, put them on and see what happens.

it seems to run fine at first,after it wormes up and when you come to a stop sign it wants to die half the time it does then toy have to keep the gas pedal to the flour and turn the intell it starts.I seen a puff of smoke come out from ane egr , could that be the problem does it need a new gasket?

TESTED IAC WITH CAR OFF BOTH READINGS WERE 54OLMS,WITH RUNNING BOTH WERE 880OLMS
remove the o2 sensor from the exhaust in front of the converter it will be noisey but that will tell you if the converter is plugged up ! it should run fine if thats the problem just loud exhaust
ok.i took out the o2 sensor the problem is still there.i put a tester on the o2 sensor.the o2 side got to .80 in a short time the book says thats low oxygen rich mixture. i tested the side that goes to the computer and got .28 i thought that was weiard to get a reading on both sides.i tested the wires together and got .80.
whats next the crankshaft sensor, camshaft sensor? how do you test them?
i was reading on this sight and somewhere it was talking about valves making a low oxygen rich mixture? could i have tightened the rocker arms to much or not enough?

at wide open it should be close to 5 volts
so does that mean its bad or needs adjusting?
has anyone had something like this?
