SOURCE: windshield wipers stuck upright when off

This is a commoon problem with what is called the "Park pawl stop". The tab is most likely bent and needs to be re-aligned, then the wipers need to be re-timed. This re-timing can be a little difficult, although the re-aligning of the tab is failry simple.

SOURCE: Rear wiper does not work.

Exactly. Not much else can go wrong. Located motor/pull and replace. Should be easy and inexpensive. No need to go to the dealer. Napa parts will be fine for this. Only other option I can think of is the switch...

SOURCE: wipers willnot return to park position

I've fixed this problem before. You have to disconnect the wiper transmission from the wiper motor. Put wipers in off position, unbolt the plate on top of wiper, turn wipers on then off. In the off position see where the wiper transmission is position in relation to where the park position is, remove the top plate from wiper motor and position it so as to be able to reconnect the wiper transmission now in the proper place. Please keep me informed. thanks you

SOURCE: replacing a 2002 Chevy Venture front wiper motor

Look online for the wiper module for this model. This is a common issue to include operation without the switch being activated. Everything is controlled by the module which screws directly on the front of the wiper motor by 3 torx head screws and measures about 4" x 4" and is very easy to install. The motor should be on the firewall. The modules run anywhere between $35 and 65. Let me know if you need anything else.

2005. Why doesn't windshield wiper stop?

There's a switch on the motor; when you turn it off, it's going to continue till the wipers are in the "park" position. Possibly a ca or internal cam or detent activates a switch to stop rotating. You might need a new wiper motor if the position switch isn't external.

My wipers on my 94 ford ranger stop in the up position, it started with only working on high but then that stopped and it started stopping in the up position, I replaced the multi switch and motor still...

Sounds like the switch in the wiper motor has gone bad. You would have to replace the wiper motor to fix this problem. There are contacts inside the wiper motor head, when you turn them off it supplies power until the wipers return to the resting position and it opens the contact and then they stop. I hope you find this useful and helps you solve your issue.

Wipers stop in the middle of my wishield, will not park properly

Sorry , no adjustment .
Wiper/Washer System Components
The Wiper / Washer System consists of the following components:
• Windshield wiper / washer switch
• Windshield wiper system module / motor
• Windshield washer fluid pump
• Windshield washer fluid level switch
• WPR 25A fuse
Wiper / Washer System Operation
The windshield wiper motor module is part of the windshield wiper motor cover and controls the wiper motor operation. The windshield wiper motor is a 2 speed motor. Windshield wiper DELAY operation is a low speed wiper motor function with a variable delay interval between the wipe cycles. The DELAY interval is controlled through a series of resistors within the wiper / washer switch.
Park Position Operation
When the windshield wiper / washer switch is turned to the OFF position while the wiper motor is somewhere in mid-cycle, the wiper motor module will continue to operate the wiper motor until the wipers reach the park position. If the ignition is turned off while the wipers are in mid-cycle, the wipers will stop immediately where they are. The wipers will park the next time the ignition is cycled to the ON position.

I have a 2005 ford galaxy with slow wipers

Hey there. I had a similar problem on my 2001 galaxy diesel. On research it's a very common problem. If you are mechanically minded it can be an easy fix with a bit of time. You need to remove the whole wiper linkage and motor and free out the bushes that hold the wipers in position applying pbc grease before refitting. Continued use will only result in your motor burning out which is 350+euro from ford and if the linkage seizes completely then another 400+euro so catch it before it's too late.

Front wipers are moving very slowly and stop.

there is a fuse for the wipers that has a relay for when the wiper motor heats up like from heavy snow and it can cause some problems so check it or get a good mechanic to look at your position.
