The dash lights and rear brake lights in my 94 ford taurus won't work...i changed the lights twice and still no action!! its very frustrating because i cant drive when it gets dark..my dash board lights...

Hi,maybe i can shed some light on the situation. Are we sure it is the stop(brake light)lights that we are talking about?Or is it the tail light?I it is the tail lights, then it is most likely the head light switch itself. The dash light and running lights(tail lights)run threw the headlight switch. If I can assist you any more on this problem, let me [email protected]

Reverse lights not working on 94 jetta

The switch is located on the outside of the transmission. You'll see near the side of the transmission. There should be 2 plugs. One has an allen screw holding it down located right by the inner cv boot (this is the speedometer drive) To the left on a raised portion will be another plug with what looks like a nut or bolt head attatched to the bottom (this is the reverse switch) To remove it simply unplug the connector and remove the switch using a box end wrench.

black with yellow tracer....tail lamp
violet with black tracer....backup lamps

as far as the bulb not lighting it could be either the socket or the circuit board
