P0300 is multiple cylinder misfire, meaning a engine miss is detected on more then 1 cylinder, I would have the codes scanned at auto part store to know for sure which cylinders are actually missing, if there are 2 cylinders that are missing and they are side by side, such as cyl. 1,3. Or 3,5. If so its possible u have a blown head gasket blowing in between the 2 cylinders.. 1st double check that your wires are installed correctly, the coil packs have numbers on them to assure proper location.. Note the rear head has cylinder 1 3 and 5. Some people get that confused.. Providing you have a 3.3, 3.8 or 3.1 liter engine.

My '02 chevy malibu got a code for cylinder 1 misfire. Tried replacing spark plug, plug wire, and coil pack. It smokes really bad. Black oil on spark plug. Also has a tick that has gotten worse, that...

You are getting oil in the cylinder and that is fouling your plugs. I would guess your piston rings are bad letting oil up into the combustion chamber or it is leaking down from the head through the valve guides. Good luck

Chevy malibu 2001 start to smogkin blue color i have codes po300

This is a Code for a random misfire on all cylinders. With the Blue smoke this indicates oil is present in the compression chamber.

The oil can cause the misfire and it could mean oil is getting past the piston rings or the valve stems on a traditional Overhead valve engine. In some cases, head gaskets can let oil go to the combustion chamber.

At best, you can pull the sparkplugs and see if this is a V6 or V8 that one head is bad and the other can remain attached to the block. But following the Random misfire warning, if the engine had several consistent cylinders misfiring, the onboard computer would tell you which one or which several cylinders are to blame.

You have sensors to make the cylinders fire. Crankshaft position sensors and sometimes camshaft position sensors can cause a misfire with little or no exhaust smoke. But the smoking problem usually means the things I mentioned. The misfire is the result of the oil problem.

Wish I had better news. Sometimes better scanners will recommend the solution to the problem it finds. Thats about all you could try again.

I hope my solution is useful.

Chevy Malibu power adjustable driver's seat stuck

If the seat is not moving forward or backward, but you do hear a click or a motorsound- chances are that you dropped in some change or other debris may be blockling the way. You might also have blown a fuse - look for fuse no. 30, which is a 30 Amp fuse.
Once you've checked all that and if the motor still does not run, then the problem may be with your wiring.
Wire colors between the switch panel and motor are:
• Fore/aft-Tan and Lt Green
• Front up/down-Dark Green and Dark Blue
• Rear up/down-Yellow and Light Blue
• Recline up/down motor's Blue and Light Green
