Pressure built up coolant tank 2005 suzuki forenza

Check engine comes on, the pressure is insane where the coolant is and its making it evaporate leaving with little coolant in there, sometimes the car slows down as if its to turn off, once the cap is opened and the pressure is reduced or gone, the car seem great, could if be the head gasket starting to go bad?

SOURCE: TRANSMISSION PULLS VERY VERY SLOW IN DRIVE AND ONLY WHEN I ACCELERATE HEAVILY. REVERSE WORKS FINE.

is this car still under warranty? if so take it back to the dealer and don't accept it as repaired till you drive it. sounds like the logic that controls the transmission is flipping out, sometimes they will tell you that it needs a reflash. what this amounts to is that the manufacturer put some not so great programming in the logic when they built the car but now they have a patch or fix that makes it work better but you have to pay them for their time to install the fix. ask them what they will charge you for the privilege and decide if it's worth it to you. there is a recorded technical service bulletin about harsh shifts for your car. well, actually there are two, the latest one a revision of the first. i would try to make this their problem, it really is. hope this helps.

SOURCE: would you say suzuki forenza 06 is a good car to buy?

They have been doing well and there problems are fewer than most. Sounds like you have a pretty good car. Have those trouble codes checked and repaired though so it does'nt cause problems down the road. Good luck.

SOURCE: 06 Suzuki Forenza make a loud clicking noise.

Your car is from 2006 how come it needs a timing belt ( do you drive 20K per year? ). What is wrong with the drive belt. The sound from belt is not a clicking noise.
Any way try to avoid that dealer. What a baloney.

When you start the car, open the hood try to identify where the noise comes from.

1-If it comes from the top engine, open your oil cap, to see if oils splattered from mechanical movements. Usually oil is not enough then it takes time to travel to the cam shaft and the lifters that why after making noise a while then the engine becomes quite since it gets lubricated. How long have you been from last oil changed?

2-If it comes from the front engine try to identify if it comes from Power steering or AC. Check Power-steering fluid to see it it needs filled up. Check this before starting the engine.
Try to turn on AC to see if the noise more or less so you can determine the AC clutch is bad.

Hope you can find the source for a good fix.

I have an 2005 suzuki forenza and its overheating but theres no leaks and when i check the coolant its always empty after it overheats

check for grey/ white engine oil in the sump. Have a compression test done to determine if it is a head gasket or cracked head problem . Have a coolant system pressure test done to find the leak especially at the hole under the water pump shaft.

EGR stuck open?

using the wrong cap with a non suz, missing vacuum breaker will stall the pump an then engine.
stalls can be.
1: engine issues, (compression bad on one or more cyl.)
2: bad spark
3: bad fueling. in that order.
if compression good and spark at all cylinders are good.
the you check fueling.
1: are spark plugs dry , white or black carbon, and/ or dripping in fuel?
reading spark plugs works on all gas engine. 100 years span. to now.
Google how to read spark plugs.
this engine is EFI. and as such can do lots of things.
leaking injectors. clogged , or dead.
low fuel pressure.
too high fuel pressures.

2005 Suzuki Forenza, check engine light is on with fault codes reading P0488 and P0496. Can't get a good explanation of what the cause may be. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

code P0488 exhaust gas recirculation closed valve pintle error ( EGR Valve ) most likely replace the valve.

code P0496 evaporative emission system continuous purge flow. could be many things, Gas cap, purge valve , purge canister, probably need to have this one check by the dealer.

I have a 2005 suzuki forenza.. I loose coolant like its nothing no signs of leak.. Low rough idle..I replaced the plugs and wires and 02 sensor Engine light flashes at idle and stops flashing but remains...

Check your oil----is it very high? Put a piece of cardboard under your car overnight, see if you have any leaks externally. If not, then you have an internal leak, which indicates a blown head gasket.

What type of coolent do i need to use in my 2006 Suzuki forenza?

Just make sure that the coolant is mixed 50/50. Don't worry about the color. You can buy coolant pre-mixed, which says you the trouble of mixing it yourself. Hope this helped.
