Reset airbag light on volvo v70 2003 - 2003 Volvo V70

just unhook the battery for about 20 minutes. if you have an anti-theft radio make sure you know the code and how to enter it.

Some swear this works, others say it doesn't.
If it doesn't, the only other solution appears to be having the dealer reset the code. From what I read, it happens all the time if you do work and don't disconnect the negative on the battery. Try this...

Turn ignition position 1
Press and hold the odometer reset button
Turn ignition to position 2 (continue to hold odometer reset button)
After the Service Light flashes, release the reset button.
Tip: Do not wait for the light to stop flashing. Release the reset button within 5 seconds from the beginning of flashing. this should reset the service light. you must be in t1 for the reset to work it will not reset in t2 mode.
