What is the yellow light lower right of dash Looks like a Sun with square lights 3 each side Brake warning light?

    the yellow light on the lower right side came on yesterday. It is a round circle with three light on each side of it surrounding the circle. What does it stand for?

2000 vw beetle. The brake light on the dash flashed and there was a beeping sound. The brake pedal seems to go much lower these days and the car is not stopping as well as it used to..
pop the bonnet and check the oil in your resivior and look for leaks... if all looks ok it it may well be that your break servo may be on the way out

Cant read dashborad light
sounds like your brake lining light. It means your brakes have worn below specification. The light to me kinda looks like a yellow circle with two dashes on one side and two on the other and they follow the curvature of the circle. On an x3 you can get a pretty good view of the brake pads looking through the wheel.
