Check the ALLPAR website about your issue. see description above in comments about another idea for a fix. i left some of the findings i have had there
SOURCE: 2000 Plymouyh Grand Voyager Engine will not
did you check your battery charge, try a new one, check crank relay, check your starter, if cranking check your ignition system, check fuel , and maybe your immobilizer, go to proffesional tech
SOURCE: 1992 plymouth grand voyager wont stay running
i can tell you its not the fuel pump.if you smell fuel then the pump is working right, you may have a weak crankshaft sensor though which would keep it from starting and running. but its definately not the fuel pump maybe you have water in your gas

Just trowing some suggestions out there, but, I would check the idle air control valve (solenoid) or the throttle position sensor. If they check out then my last guess would be the map sensor or the vaccuum to the map sensor. Hope I was able to help. Best wishes.

Sounds like either you have a clogged fuel line and or clogged fuel filter or the fuel pump is failing. What happens when the vehicle runs the fuel pump heats up, as it heats up it produces less and less fuel for your car. Eventually ti stops working until its cool again on faulty pumps. Given the age of your vehicle I would say you need to replace both pump and filter.

This may not be the correct solution, but I do know that on my car I had to replace the CAM sensor, and within two weeks it was doing the same thing you're describing and as soon as I replaced the CRANK sensor, it fixed it. I asked my mechanic later and he said they tend to go around the same time. I would try that first. I hope this helps, good luck!

Ok . codes told me to replace oxigen sensor and fuse for engine fan blown-replaced. I have also changed the fuel pump assembly. Car still turns off. Leave the house go 2 blocks, TURNS OFF. Turn key on 2 times third time car starts. Runs fine on this short trip. Next time I leave the house 2 blocks turnes off.
Oh ya the check engine light does not come on any more but car turns off.
have a look at the ALLPAR website. these rigs have some sensor and or pcm troubles. since it depends what system you have, the map sensor or even the PCM could be the issue. see what ALLPAR says about your vehicle and identify your system and its build date and usage of parts. Some sensors can cause trouble and not set a code on these. the individual inspection and testing of each sensor can sometimes reveal the cause. split hoses or damaged wires can show up during inspection.
what you have to use for clues is the condition of the plugs, the fact that it was getting too hot, and had an o2 sensor malfunction. since its almost 20 years old, you may have a ton of maintenance to catch up on. check at the library for TSB's and or recalls on this type vehicle
shorted sensors can make the pcm shutoff the injectors so its not easy to have a goto pinpoint test. you would have to make a schematic to read, tack it up on the wall, find the circuit its dropping to die, then look for shorts and partial shorts as the wires lead you. or, start printing your own money to pay the dealership service department for all the trial and error
this is why i suggest the ALLPAR website
