1992 caddilac devile slow idle down responce - 1994 Cadillac Seville

Check spark, check fuel pressure first.

ck air filter,make sure clean and not having a chocking effect on engine and make sure throttle body i clean as this will slow down air passing through system because it makes the air rough and has a slowing on the air and the computer will set paremeters try to make vehicle run as smoth as possible for these conditions ,it goes into limp-home-mode .cleaning throttle boby helps the air to move through smoothly and improves idl and throttle responce

In some cases, the throttle body is dirty or the iac valve is faulty.
I would start with those two things.

see the diagram. and test, the fuses that goes below the knob of braker small gate,has indication for each light. God bless you

sounds like you have an I.A.C issue. Idle air control problem. I would recommend replacing the I.A.C motor

THIS IN NOT GOOD ITS EITHER A PRE CONVETER OXGEN SENSOR SLOW RESPONCE #1 ORDAMAGED POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE IT MIGHT BE WORTH SAVING SORRY

YOU HAVE TO RELEASE THE CATCHES ON EACH SIDE OF THE RADIO

fuel pressure regulator if it is 4.3 because my truck sits and idles but when u press the gas it die out.

check the vacuum from the motor??? slow oxy sensor slow to the ecu to go lean when in idle..

Sounds like faulty light switch... especially if all the lights are on after you hot-wire. Common GM issue especially if its the cluster type(turn signal switch). Read more >> Options >>
