92 cavalier rs 4cyc.with coil packs cranks but won,t start did this once before but started now won,t start checked fire to plugs don,t have any sometimes when turn key just get click then it will turn over checked all starter wires with key on all have juice
Hes right check the ignition control module.i had to replace mine because my cavalier would start fine one minute and the next it would be idling rough and backfiring. your best bet is to replace the control module.
Good Day! I've looked closely at your problem, at first I thought the dreaded had happened and the timing/cam belt had broken but if you are seeing sparks at the plugs then all seems well. Daft as it may seem is the vehicle left out in a damp environment? if so spray the plug leads, diode pack and coil assembly with a proprietry moisture/de-watering fluid like WD40 or a quality product of the same ilk. DO NOT! try this whilst cranking the engine! leave it a few moments before trying to start the engine as if your plug leads are tracking down to earth you'll possibly set fire to the fluid that is over the parts you've sprayed. It is the propellant in the oil that is flammable and needs to evaporate.
If you manage to start the engine have a look/listen for arc's or cracking coming from the plugs or the High tension leads as these could be perished worn out causing very poor ignition. If so replace.
Good luck! hope this helps?

I agree, the newer cars don't have distributors, they have control modules. Check to see that they are working correctly and that the computer is running correctly. If you can get it to a Auto part store they have the computer there to usse for free, and they can often diagnose it for free. You may want to try that.
I could barely understand your problem because you had no periods and your apostrophies were commas.
Sounds like you have a bad distributor. If you have the coil pack assembly, then you need to make sure the coil packs or control module under it are working
