Pulled fuse#14 on 98 passat now won't start over

After a bit of searching ... I think you are going to continue to be frustrated.
Evidently for this Passat model year the owners manuals and even some service manuals do NOT reflect accurately what is in the car. The build date of the car is important in determining the exact fuse locations/ratings. There are 2 boxes ... one on drivers side and one on passenger side.

could have plugged fuel filter check see if you have fuel pressure.if no check fuel pump fuse or relay.

check battery and battery connection,fuel filter,air filter.

starter motor or main fuse.

Is it auto?? Needs to know you are not starting car in gear

do you here the fuel pump working when you turn the key?If not could be a fuse that runs the fuel pump.

I would double check to make sure no air was in line. If it still won't crank, has to be pump.

if the blower is constantly running it sounds like u have a fused wire allowing the blower to run directly off the battery?

put the fuse back in pull the positive battery cable off for 30 secs then put it back on. Try restart

you owners manual will contain that information. In most cases like this for BMW it is the ignition switch, to clarify, not the ignition lock.
