Brightlights not working on a 03 chev trailblaser

It could be many different of things, but I would check the charging system and battery first. I have had many under charging GM vehicles that all the dash warning lights would light up.

the speed balist is burning out. all chevs have this problem. you need a new one. I would just leave it. if u want to fix look by blower ( pass side floor) where the wires go is two screws unplug wires unscrew screws then pull the part with plug out and thats your problem. u will probably see the burnt parts.

I would call around to local junkyards and see if any have an 03 Ion. If so go buy the drivers wiper arm from them. At the base of the arm is a socket with serrations or splines in it. If these are rounded off, do not buy the arm, just keep looking. Once you have a good one, make sure your wiper switch is in OFF position. Have someone with some basic tools pull off the plastic cap over the base of your wiper arm if it is still there. Generally these caps are gone after about 2 years. Then remove the nut which holds the arm onto the little stub. Pull the wiper arm off, may take a little gentle rocking but do not pry against glass. When it is off, put your replacement arm on so that it sits in the right rest position, snug the nut down, and put the cap back on. If you know what loctite is that nut would be a good place for it, but not necessary. Might be a good time to replace both wiper blades. Alternatively you can pull off the cap and snug the nut down, but if the serrations are smoothed over this will be useless.

Yes axle will just re insert in to the transfer case. My recommendation is to replace this stuff now since it is all apart anyways. Yes the ball joint will have to be pressed into the control arm. Some ball joints are designed that they just pull into the control arm as you tighten it.

Pull the turn signal handle toward you, if it doesn't click, you have a broken switch.

the high beam switch is bad

I have a 03 just take the two screws out underneath the columm and it will pop apart there is two tiny tiny wires comming down from the shifter there probably broke

The wiper arm connection at the motor shaft is a soft metal and known to strip out and slip. No problem to replace. Get a new wiper arm before beginning the procedure. Remove the rubber cover at the pivot and remove the nut securing the wiper arm. Pull the stripped wiper arm off and place the new one on in a horizontal and original position. Put the securing nut on and tighten it enough that it won't strip again, replace the rubber cover and done. See, NOOOOOOO problem.

Most likely cause is a faulty oil pressure sending unit.
