Water in headlight len

Can't picture the 84 model in my mind,but from experience if there are no visible screws then it is bolted on from behind(if in the bumper assembly) If it is part of /next to the headlight assy then you will probably have to remove the headlight trim and possibly the headlight also. From there you should find some type of retaining device (or combination of them) a screw or bolt and possibly a snap in socket of some kind.

Save radio code.Yank off one of the battery terminals. Turn headlights on for 30 seconds to dump computer memory.
Re connect battery.Re set radio and clock.
If that doesn't turn off the air bag light,see body shop for air bag re set.

if the turn signal cover is loose, and you are not really sure and dont want to break yours, visit your local junk yard and try the exact same thing there. But you could always try a rag and a flat head screwdriver, use the rag to cover the screwdriver and gently pry the turn signal lens out from the back of the housing. Usually the rubber grommets have just gotten old with age and weather. have you tried removing your headlight? although rare, somethimes the headlights need to come out first with certain models.

SWEAT OR WATER IN HEAT LIGHT LENS MOST HEADLIGHT LENS HAS TO BE REPLACED OF FIND A GOOD SET AT SALVAGE YARD.

The bulb is removed from the back side & the lens is sealed to keep it waterproof and shouldn't be removed.

On most of these, you have to get access from behind, even if it means you have to remove the unit itself, or parts of the car, to gain access to the rear. Once you do, it's an easy replacement.

Front Turn Signal & Parking Lights



Remove the 2 parking light housing retaining screws ...



... then pull the housing away from the vehicle far enough to remove the bulb socket from behind the housing. Turn the socket counterclockwise and pull



Push the bulb in the socket gently and turn clockwise, then pull the bulb out of the socket. Note the offset retaining ears on each side of the bulb

1. Remove the screws from the lens and separate the lens from the headlight bezel.
   
2. Remove the headlight bezel.
   
3. Remove the screws from the turn signal housing and pull it out.
   
4. Turn the bulb socket counterclockwise 1/3 turn and remove it.
   
5. Installation is the reverse of removal.
   

Side Marker Lights

1. Remove the screws from the marker lens and separate the lens from the headlight bezel.
   
2. Pull the bulb from its socket in the back of the lens.
   
3. Installation is the reverse of removal.
   

Remove the metal clips (if they're still there) heat it up with a hairdryer or commercial hot air gun to soften the seal and pry apart. Be CAREFUL, the lens might break. When you're done, reseal and check the wire inlet to make sure it is still sealed (might have been the cause of moisture ingress in the first place).

Alternatively, buy replacement headlights, the lexan may have dulled and it may not be dirt (very typical for 3000gt headlights)

no u dont have to take lens cover off behind headlights there is two adjusting bolts one top one bottom in corner off wing

Here you go, removal & installation of:

Front Parking/Turn Signal Lights:

• Remove the screws from the the lens and separate the lens from the bezel
• Remove the screws from the turn signal housing and pull it out
• Turn the bulb socket CCW 1/3 turn and remove it
• Installation is the reverse of this procedure

Side (Front) Marker Lights:

• Remove the screws from the marker lens
  
• Separate the lens from the headlight
• Pull the bulb from the back of the lens
• Installation is the reverse of this procedure
