I promise this works 'cause I used it:
Put the key in the ignition, move the intermittent wiper control to the middle possition and then turn the key on.
just to clarify it's the ring that controlls the intermittent wiper speed and not the int / low/ high switch.
What this does is it resets the multiplex unit that controlls the accessories such as the power door locks. This problem usually happens once the battery has been removed or disconnected and reconnected.
Every once in a while the multiplex systems lock up. Especially on the 98s. That's how you wake em up.

most common problem is the a/c condensor tube is clogged and is under the car and needs to be cleared with compressed air. also the sunroof track has 4 drain tubes and the right front may be clogged or leaking. you can check that by pouring a cup of water down the right front drain tube in the sunroof track and see if water comes out by the right front wheel

possibly your power window regulator is out. basically check the fuses first to make sure you have not blown that, if it is good, then you can order a new window regulator from the dealer or online @ autopartswarehouse.com. to replace the window regulator you will need to will need to remove the door panel, start with the screws on the handle and the arm rest, covered with a plastic cap. the door panel which can be pryed from the bottom with a flat blade screw driver or flat pry bar, it will make a snapping sound. three bolts on the regulator 4 bolts on the window tracks and 2 bolts securing the window, re assemble as you have taken apart, Good Luck!!

The door panel is held on by plastic clips.. first check behind the door handle and see if there are bolts or screws there. then start on the bottom and pry the panel loose starting on bottom of panel and then going up the sides with a flat blade screw driver. once you have gotten sides and bottom loose pickup on the door panel to release it from the window ledge this is how the top is held in place.. holler if you need more info ..
