SOURCE: 97 Ford Econoline air conditioning and vent settings blowing hot

I know from experience that if the coolant is to low ( not just the freon levels in the compresor but the antifreeze/coolant level as well) the AC system will not cool and will blow hot. Check the coolant Antifreeze and freon levels, even with the Coolant being a little low my 1998 Ford E150 Van will blow hot. After you have ruled out of these possibilities and the chance it is the thermostat most likely the problem is what Ford calls the "Flap" it controls the air flow through the vent system when you switch from Heat to AC. When the Flap is working it closes off one systems air flow so as to not interfere with the current climate selection.

SOURCE: 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis will only blow hot air when ac is on

needs re-gassing because one line should be hot (feed) and the return cold , This is a specialist job do not attempt to do it yourself because its extremely dangerous with very high pressures involved

How do I replace the battery in my 2008 bmw 535i

It is very easy to replace the battery. It is located in the trunk.
however, you would have to take your car to BMW to reset the car since you have put a new battery in the vehicle.

I just bought a 2008 BMW 535i and the battery has already drained twice. The first time the battery drained in my driveway and another time it happened 1 hour away from home, leaving my wife stranded late...

The original equipment battery on this car is weak. I had to put a trickle charger on the battery for my 2008 BMW 535i to keep it charged. Your other option is to buy an aftermarket battery that is tougher than the original and costs less (about $110 versus $435).

I have a 2001 BMW 330I. When I use the automatic function of the climate control it blow hot and cold air. The AC button is on and the automatic button is selected and the thumbwheel of the center air vent...

First suggestion, ensure the AC is properly charged... the AC system is very picky... so check belts pulleys and AC charge first... if the AC is healthy and this issue is still present... you have two possible solutions...1. heater control box in dash behind the radio...Expensive part $450+ and lots of labor to pull dash apart... or 2. the heater control valve in the engine bay... $130 part you can do IF you take your time

Where is the post under the hood of a 1991 BMW 535i that I can use to charge the battery?

Did somebody tell you there was a post under there? They are talking about the battery post. If your battery has side mount terminals, it has no posts, and the side mounts are a nightmare to charge up. But it can be done. Is the battery getting weak? Did you check the water? Check the electrolytic stuff to see if it is worth charging. One of those floaty ball things. Walmart will check it for you for free, they like selling batteries. Your alternator should be charging the battery, unless it has been sitting a while. Hope this helps.

Air only blows out the bottom

if the compressor won't engage, the system can't be properly charged, because you can't see what the system pressures are. who ever charged it doesn't know what they are doing, so take it to a shop that can check pressures.
