SOURCE: unlock code for my 2006 Honda civic radio

I have an '06 Honda Civic. The most common places where the code is found is on the left side of the glove box, in the trunk somewhere along the gasket or underneath where the speakers are, under the fuse box panel, under the ashtray and sometimes under center console lid. I happen to find my in the left side of the glove compartment. The first five digits are the code and under that, you should see and 11 digit code which is your radio serial. So once you have the code if you haven't already, turn on the radio. It will ask you for the code and you punch it in using the number on the buttons you use to change your radio stations. As you punch in numbers "CODE" will start to fill in. Just like the asterisks used in passwords. If you punch it incorrectly, it will say "error 1" or something to that effect. Do not push anything else, just start over by punch in the first number of the code and then the rest. Be careful, if you attempt too many times, the radio will lock itself and you will need to leave the radio on for an hour for it to reset itself. When successful done, the radio will turn back on to the last station you were last on. Hope that helps.

SOURCE: Honda radio says ERROR E

You only get like 10 tries this means you made to many attempts trying to put the wrong code in. Disconnect the battery cable and then try putting the code in the radio again.

2007 honda pilot radio code

Typically to get the code you have to have the serial number of the unit and call a Honda dealership to get the code. Sometimes in years gone by, there was a credit card sized card that had a sticker with the serial number and code. Sometimes the sticker is even stuck on the owners manual or the inside of the glovebox.

It sound like you are going aftermarket so I would think that the code is not needed as the code was only for the factory radio itself, not the rest of the system (speakers, etc..) Call the radio installer and ask but I don't think you need the code.

Acura car stereo lock codes my stereo needs a code is a Acura 3.0CL now it says err-3 can some one help

err-3 means you have entered incorrect anti-theft radio code more that three times. If you do not have radio code you can most of the time find the code card tucked away in the owners manual pouch.(looks like a bussiness card)If you are unable to find card you would have to pull radio from dash and retrive stereo serial number, which is on bottom side of radio.once you have s/n you can take s/n to any acura dealership(has to be a dealer)and they can get radio code for that stereo through Honda Corp.once you have correct radio code you will need to first unplug radio,or disconnect battery to reset radio memory, then type in radio code.again if entered incorrectly 3x ,radio would need to be reset again too clear error codes.good luck!

Honda odyssy in dash clock light failure2004

There is a bulb in the clock but you will have to remove the instrument cluster to get to it. This involves removing some molded trim panels around the steering column and it is not very easy. Yeah, I don't think Honda could have made changing a clock light bulb any harder.

For the error code on your stereo--look in your paper work you got when you purchased the car and see if you can find a radio code in there. Check the owner's manual for a sticker with the code stuck on a page. You'll need to input the code to get your stereo to turn on. Don't have or can't find? You may have to remove the radio to get the serial number on it and call your local Honda dealer.

Radio/cd player 2001 honda prelude shows "error."

Look in your owner manuel for a radio code, should be a 5 diget code. If you try to put wrong numbers in the stereo more than three or four times the radio will lock up. If you can't find the code call the dealer with the vin# and they should be able to tell you over thier computer. Another way to find the code is hold number 1 and 6 at the same time for 10 seconds and it will bring up a code that you will have to right down, that code will get your password for your stereo when you call the Honda Dealer. If your stereo does lock up just take your battery cables off and hold the red and black one together for 30 seconds and this will reset your radio.

2004 Honda Accord touch screen will not accept code numbers

DOES SYSTEM INTAKE CODE YOU TYPE AND RETURN WITH ERROR MESSAGE OR JUST PLAIN HAS LOCKED SCREEN? SYSTEM IS DESIGNED SO THAT IF INCORRECT CODE IS INPUT MORE THAN THREE TIMES SYTEM LOCKS ITSELF.WHICH REQUIRES THAN THE NAVI UNIT BE UNPLUGGED FROM BATTERY POWER FOR ABOUT 5-10 MINS TO RESET ITSELF.NOW INCORRECT CODE CAN BE DUE TO WRONG CODE/SERIAL # CARD FOR VEHICLE, UNIT HAS BEEN REPLACED IN PAST POSSIBLY AND YOU ARE INPUTING CODE FROM OLD UNIT UNKNOWINGLY. YOU ALSO WANT TO MAKE SURE CODE YOU ARE TRYING TO INPUT IS FOR NAVI-SYSTEM AND NOT THE RADIO CODE FOR THE STEREO. IF ALL ABOVE CHECKS OK THEN NEXT STEP WOULD BE TO REMOVE UNIT TO RETRIEVE SERIAL NUMBER FROM BACK OF NAVI UNIT THEN GO TO NEAREST DEALARSHIP WHO CAN THAN RUN S/N THROUGH HONDA IN SYSTEM AND RETRIEVE CORRECT CODE FOR THAN SERIAL NUMBER. LET ME KNOW HOW IT GO'S
