Make sure you have ALL the wires reconnected. The ECM is a good guess. If you have a Pull a Part salvage yard around you, try to get an ECM. About $40. If not check E-bay. You will not like dealer price.
check the jack pins condition, check for brakes, check the harnhes for broken wires, try an other ecm from a junked or salvage or borrowed and see if it makes any difference
you can not adjust the idle it is ctroled through the ecm(main computer) there is a sensor on the throttle body(tps) this needs to be replaced. also make sure you check all vaccum lines as well
