There are no brake line diagrams, never have been

A factory service manual may show a partial on some
line, but is of no value as to what you want

You have allthe original factory lines
If they are rusted out ,etc, you copy what
you have & bend, form or change as you see fit.

If you have some type of braking issue or problem
you need to provide details & the question

SOURCE: changing rear brakes on a 2001 volkswagon jetta

You probably have a screw-in caliper piston design like my 99 A4 has. You need a tool that is made for screwing the calipers in - AutoZone has them as part of their tool loan program. Look at the face of the piston - if you see two indents or notches across from each other on the face, then you have screw-in pistons and need the kit to do them.

SOURCE: Rear brake diagram

Look at other side rear brake, if you can't transpose it in your mind, then stick a big mirror in front of the other side and take a photo of the brake image in the mirror ... hmmm,  you may end up thinking like this after a while.  I don;t know that that is a good thing;~).
good luck, ..ajm

How do i bleed the brakes on my 2001 volkswagon passat?

Hi!!
The best way to bleed the brakes is using a One Person Brake Line Bleeding Kit. sold at most autoparts stores for about $10. It comes with instructions and makes bleeding the brake line a breeze.
