My advice is to skip the replacement parts and just go ahead and convert to a coil suspension. You're just going to keep throwing money at the problem and it's just not going to get much better unless you're willing to fully replace the whole unit. Converting to a coil suspension will cost way less and end the repairs for good. Check out these guys You searched for lincoln navigator Strutmasters

I agree it's probably the air springs that are leaking. You have 2 good alternatives: #1 Replace those Lincoln Town Car Air Suspension Air Spring 98 02 with a good aftermarket replacement available at American Air Suspension. #2 Would be to do a Lincoln Town Car Air Suspension Conversion 9802 The ride is great and you'll never have those air suspension worries EVER again.

I have a 2000 Lincoln Town car, had the same problem, it was the rear air suspension/shocks. They are air bags basically that levels your car and it cost about $300.00 for each at the dealer for parts and install but it also has its own motor that inflates and deflates these air bags and I also had to replace that and that cost over $400.00 installed at the dealer.

Without knowing where the noise is coming from, you won't have much luck fixing it. If it happens when you are moving you may have to get someone to stand next to the truck and listen.

The rear end of my Lincoln Navigator will not raise.

could just be a seal on the air line itself, or possibly a whole in the line or one of th eleveling air bags. gong thru the water should'nt have any effect on it,unfortunately these are just like any other part, or seal they just eventually wear out.

Go to Midas, they will inspect and find out what is rattling and give you a quote on the price, but if you can't afford,it won't cost anything to get checked out, I use them and they have a life time warranty. They will also raise up and show you what is wrong.

Power vindows won't raise up

All your windows won't go up since it reads "vindows, I hope it is a fuse or the selinode. Since I don't know how old your car is it may still be under warranty. I have an old 95 4 Runner and went to "Pull A Part" and found the part and had my mechanic change it. It would have cost me $200, I got it for $14.

1988 Mazda rx7 window won't raise or lower

Its either the switch or the window regulator. They all 'live' on the passenger side by the way. I have had both replaced on passenger side over the years on my '88 convertible and guess what? Passenger side window decided not to go up today..down yes..up no so I hope its just a switch. She goes into the hospital Monday. Good luck with yours.

Passenger rear window won't stay open

It sounds like you got some soda or some other on the switch. Is it the type you pull up on to raise?

Lug nuts on right rear tire won't loosen! Turning counter-clockwise, won't budge.

pur a long bar on the end of the socket say about 3ft long as the nuts have been done up with a wrench gun ,max torque for a wheel nut is 40lbs and yours are about 120 i reckon

Need instructions on how to install rear air shocks on a 1965 Cheverolet truck

Reasonably easy to install. Remove the old shocks and replace them with the air shocks. Place the hose fittings where they won't run into anything. Attach the hoses and run them to the rear bumper. attach both lines to the "t" fitting supplied in the hose kit. find a hole in the underside of the rear bumper (or drill one) and mount the "t".Fill the shocks to around 40psi and check all your connections with soapy water to make sure they don't leak. Secure the lines to the chassis so they don't hang down and you are finished! One note. The fittings do not need to be super tight. the small "o" rings in the kit are pretty fat and usually seal pretty well hand tight. On a truck, generally you don't need to jack it up to do the job. If you do, take care not to raise it so far the wheels hang as the rear can drop when you disconnect the shocks.
It won't fall out but even a drop of several inches can hurt if your head is under there!!
