I have a 1994 chevy sportside 1500 5.7 liter 4x4 my problem is i bought this truck off some guy and the rpm wile clim then drop loosing power while driving or in park...changed fuel pump fuel filter tbi all the tbi sensors map sensor vacume silonoid and the pickup in my distruibter and the truck still does the same thing even ghanged the computer in glove box nuthing is changing it is there any one out there who can help me starting to get tired of truck

there is a distinct possibility that it will drop in ,no problems
carefully check bell housing bolt locations
unless there is a major chassis change then it is a go

I would have catalytic converter checked. You can also check the base of the carb or Throttlebody to make sure there isn't a vacuum leak.

Two things to check. First would be a stopped up exhaust. Second would be a bad distributor.

check the idler arm and pitman arms
a quik and dirty way to check for play in the front end
is to have an assistant rock the steering wheel back and forth while feel an all the joints in the steering gear for play.
there will likely be more than one loose joint.

fuel might be thickening -try an anti-gel or other fuel additive-also get fuel pump pressure checked

Is overdrive functioning?
