Question about 2003 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
The battery light came on, my last service check @ the dealership I was told the battery tested "weak". That was about a year and a half ago. I replaced the main battery with an original new MB battery, but the light is still on. Is there any way to reset the battery light or there is more diagnoses needs to be done. The car did not have any signs of battery issue before or after the replacement with the exception of the battery light. Thanks Max

I'm in the U.K. and your Quarts are of a different measure to ours, I would say that is about the right amount, however careful topping up on level ground and monitoring the dip stick should get you there? anyhow where you bought the oil will have capacity details.
As for oil service light have you tried holding down the trip reset button whilst turning on ignition? Keep it pressed for about 10/15 seconds.
Press the Blue button please if helped by my FREE Effort, Thank You!

SOME OF THE REMOTES REQUIRE THAT THE KEY BE IN THE IGNITION, IN THE ON POSITION. TAKE THE BATTERY OUT AND WAIT 10 MINUTES. THEN PUT THE KEY IN THE IGNITION AND INSTALL THE BATTERY WHILE THE KEY IS TURNED TO THE ON POSITION. HOPE THIS HELPS YOU. PLEASE KEEP ME POSTED. THANKS FOR AN HONEST RATING AND FOR USING FIX-YA. GOOD LUCK
