First, amke sure your air cinditioner is on the off position, Next, check your resovoir for your anti-freeze..coolant level, last thing I can thing of is it could be your heat exchanger.

the switch sound like it needs replaced, the cold air may be your thermostat if not then the heater core. Hope this helps Tim

1999 saturn the ac is no longer blowing air at all no heat no cold air you can hear it turn on but nothing. What do I need to look for?

Temp. actuator maybe. A electrica motor that moves a door from cold to hot in the rear HVAC unit . Removing the rear trim panel to get at the auxiliary HVAC unit would need to be done . Search on youtube , video showing how to do it .

Try blowing ou tthe heat exchanger with compressed air. Make sure it's cool b4 removing hoses..

This sounds like the mode selector is stuck on heat. Under the dash is the location of the hvac plenum and you need to check the cables and levers that are on it to see if they move when heat and cold are changed as well as the lever for where the air is directed.
