2001 chevy malibu alarm keeps going off. owner manual is missing. were is alarm fuse located?

Most new chevys the alarm is integrated into the bcm. Body computer module. What would you be trying to bypass. Or what would be the issue on the vehicle. A few ways to keep it from arming the audible alarm is possible. Such as the hood switch contact. If contact is open. The alarm shouldn’t arm. Thanks

Probably. Check the owners manual. On some models there are TWO fuses connected with the radio. One powers up the radio when you turn the key on, the other is on all the time to keep the clock, preset stations, etc. stored. Owners manual should tell you where they are located...

there is no fuse for high bean light. the same light bulb that does your low beam, will also do high beam. Now because your signal lights are not working,it could be the multi-function switch. Any repair shop will quickly diagnose this problem. If you know how to change the headlight bulb of your car, i would start with that.

the alarm module is uderthehood in a black square box pull the fuse look atdiagram on fuse box carefully

its a blue 15 amp fuse located under to hood i believe its number 43 but not certian

There are several fuse boxes in the 2011 Malibu, one is in the engine compartment (drivers side), one inside the car and one in the drivers side of the trunk. Check the owners manual for locations of the various circuits of interest.

Check your owners manual for the location of a SECOND radio fuse. There are usually TWO fuses for the radio. One is the for the circuit to operate the radio when the ignition switch is turned on, the other is when the switch is off. The second one provides power to the radio when the key is off. It keeps the clock running and your radio presets. The radio requires BOTH fuses to operate properly.

I have never seen a fuse for an ECM but if there was one it would show you the location in the owners manual.....Did you check the fuse panel for one ? Check for power block under the hood You cant go wrong looking at the owners manual....look in the index for fuse or fuse's ..What kind of problems are you having with it ? What size engine is in it ?

I am not sure if it has a fuse but your owners manual will say. I know it has a relay. If your not getting any fuel a good bet is to check your fuel filter and check to see if the fuel pump turns on for a second when you first turn the key on. Your pump may be bad. I have a 2001 malibu and have had 3 pumps in it since new.
