These cars nare drive by wire. Most likely you need to replace the TPS. It is part of the throttle.

SOURCE: changing rear brakes on 2006 pontiac G6 how do i

Ok! here is the solution ...
After changing the pad dont try to push back the piston the old fashioned way or you will broke the caliper casting.
This new kind of break should be only twisted clockwise to bring the piston back to its position you can use only long nose pliers to rotate the piston since there is two cavity on the piston for this use.
Also after setting the piston back to it's position take care of the seal around the piston be shure before replacing the caliper over the disk that the seal will not go between the disk and the pad...
slide the pads gently to it's position and that's it.

SOURCE: engine light 2006 pontiac g6(reset)

first be sure that its the engine light and not the "service" light. the service light will usually illuminate if its time for an oil change. if its the service light ur owners manual should tell u how to reset it. if its ur engine light then try disconnecting ur positive battery cable for 1 minute. that should reset ur ecm and get rid of the engine light. if the engine light comes back on then have a diagnostic scan done to determine whats causing it. SOURCE: 2006 Pontiac G6 GTP window auto close/open

OMG. I replaced the battery in my 06 G6 and had the same problem. the windows would not roll up or down how they did before. I read the answers on here and it does work. Hold up the window switch for ten seconds and it resets. You will have to do it to each window. Worked great. Thanks

SOURCE: how do I expose the motor on a 2006 pontiac g6 to

Remove everything from the headliner and remove all of the trim holding it in place. Carefully pry the headliner out from one side and the rest will now be easily removed. Unless the car has been subject to abuse and intense heat the headliner will not come loose from the backing and can be reinstalled.

Pontiac g6 cruise control does not work 95% of time

The most common issue here is the rotating contact under the steering wheel called the "Clockspring" has an open printed circuit ribbon. To change this requires the Airbag and steering wheel be taken off. You must disarm the steering wheel mounted Airbag before work starts, failure to do this can kill you. Read and follow the service manual instructions to the letter.

Own a 2005 G6 vt Pontiac and Cruise control suddenly stopped working. Is it a blown fuse?

Yes, most likely. Look for the fusebox under the hood and check the fuse. Whenever any electrical system stops abruptly, the fuse should be the first candidate for inspection. So, please do it.
