Clutch master and slave cylinders should always be replaced together as should wheel cylinders and calipers(replaced in pairs). The clutch hydraulics are used 3 to 5 times more than the brakes (depends on how many speed trans you have) and wear evenly.
Hey Frank. When one cylinder goes the other usually follows because higher pressure needed to operate a new cylinder, sometimes the fluid leaks down the firewall or down your clutch pedal onto the floor, if its your master cylinder that is.You can get a new one or get your old one rehoned and a stainless steel tube inserted and it will last forever as theyre made of aluminium and wear. Either way you'l need to buy a new kit for the inside of it.Be mindful what you order as some models of cars the abs and non abs cylinders are a very slight different diameter. I hope this helps.

Clutch fluid and brake fluid are the same thing. It's usually only sold with the label "Brake Fluid", but it is used in the clutch system as well. In fact, a lot of vehicles only have the one reservoir for both brake and clutch systems. You should use DOT 4 or higher grade. Cheers.

You ever think about replacing your rubber clutch line with a hard line or just replacing the rubber line

Sounds like you need to bleed the system again, or you have an air leak. try bleeding again and just check your fittings for tightness.
