Where is the starter located on the 1999 Chevy Lumina?

It might be the flasher relay and it might be the horn relay although horns tend to seize up through lack of use. the flasher relay is is separate to the Hazards relay which is often part of the switch.

check your battery first, then check your ignition switch, then check your spark plugs and wires.

It will either be the starter solenoid or the ignition switch being faulty. Check those, if you are unfamiliar with the components i suggest you take it to a repair shop. Those are cheap fixes even if you have someone do it for you. I hope i was able to help. Please rate if i did.

Seem like the battery is discharged make sure the battery is fully charged. Check starter also..Good Luck!!!

Support the car very securely first of all

Remove the negative cable from the battery

Remove the wires from the starter

Remove the two bolts from the starter going upward to the engine block

Wiggle the starter out

Reverse this proceedure to reinstall

down by the start is a fused link, this link may have burned out and will need replaced before you will get voltage to the starter
