Check to see if you are getting fuel pressure. If you can not hear the fuel pump run with the key in the on position then it is bad. If you are getting the right fuel pressure then you should check the spark

SOURCE: the ignation works in my car but the car is not starting like no fule is reaching the engin is it a problem with the fule

you may want to have the ECU checked, it may have codes that are causing it to lock up, try taking the negative terminal off the battery let it sit for about 10 min. then put it back on and start it, if it still gives you the same problem, you might just have to cycle the engine to relearn a few times. but normally this will reset it

I HAVE YOUKON 1999 SUDINLY STOP IGNITION IS OK ELCRTICAL FOR THE LIGHTES IS OK BUT INGINE NOT RUNING FULE NOT COMMING TO INGINE

Sometimes the antitheft security system can turn off the injectors and/or fuel pump when there is a problem in the system. A good indicator is if there is a light somewhere on the dash that reads SECURITY. If you see this, go to this link for info and DO IT YOURSELF solutions. http://vatspasslockpasskeysecurityhelp.yolasite.com/

My 2001 chevy silverado is having trouble starting i changed the fule filter and i can hear my fule pump runing but it takes right at 3 cranks for it to start.. It would try to start but just die on me......

Sounds like it. On new automobiles the fuel pump is in the gas tank, cools the pump, but you can disconnect the pump and put on an outside pump instead of pulling the gas tank and replacing gas pump and tank. Leave old pump in gas tank.

My 2000 Oldsmobile Alero does not start. It cranks fine, has a new battery, new spark plugs, and I can hear the fuel pump working. I was thinking of checking the fuel filter next. Much help needed

check for a good spark first, if there is none look at ignition circuits its more likley this part,
it could also be the car alarm the immobiliser shutting of the ignition ""stops it getting nicked?"
try resetting the alarm if you take off pipe to carb and there is fule pumping out!!! fule filter is "ok" for starting up on!!! take care working with fule!
