Need a 1997 jetta owners manuel - 1997 BMW 318

Hey- so i had this same problem. Neither of the rear doors would lock/unlock consistantly. All I had to do was spray a ton of WD-40 in the latch area and all around where the red manuel lock lever was on the door and then work that red manuel lock lever back and forth for about 20 min and now it works great! Maybe the previous owner had it disconnected so the true mileage is not recorded.Check the fuses if its electronic or the cable if its manual.Fuses should be under the hood or down by where your feet go behind the kickplate...

the best type of battery information is found in the owners manual, which is in the glove box. lots of other important and useful information is in there also. if the manual is gone you can buy a replacement for a few bucks on ebay.

You may need your lock code. ?????? LOL Look in your owners manual. The installer usually jots it down on a back blank page. Good Luck

you will need to contact the dealer for this as it is a security {anti-theft deterrent} .unless you have the owners Manuel and hope the previous owner wrote it down within the book or even on another piece of paper .

tire size is listed in the owners manual. if it's been lost call local tire shop they have all the info on OE tire size
