Check engine light is coming up repeatedly and this is the third time its come up. First time its problem with Temperature sensor(thermostat) and it was replaced. Second time it was leak detection pump was replaced and now it complains regarding oxygen sensors, code P0130 and P0139. Appreciate any and every guidance to help resolve the issue.

as per vw, you need to check transmission oil level., not an easy thing to do. if transmission oil level ok (no dipstick on these by the way). it is a mecahnical fault.

Go to any autozone store. Most will check your codes for free

take it back to shop because.some of the 2.8 v6 passat had 2 cam sensors.one for right bank and one for left bank.if shop already replace them.they need to remove code from computer.

Hi,first thing your cambelt and tensioner should have been replaced 13k miles ago,it would pay you to replace the water pump at the same time as they are known for impellor failure = cooling system fault=P2181 code,hope this helps.
