Right front window wont go up or down took off panel found broken pice of plastic on bottom and end of cable cant figure out how to get motor and regalator out

Pry the cars window switch -- and window switch bezel assembly -- out of the door panel using a trim tool if you have one or you can use a butter knife. Detach the wiring connector from the base of the switch by hand. Remove the screws holding the cars door panel to the door using a Phillips screwdriver. Lift the cars door panel up and off the door by hand

Reach into the cars door with your hands and lift the window to the top of the window tract. Tape the window to the top of the frame with packing tape. Detach the wiring connector from the power window motor manually. Remove the bolts holding the cars power window motor to the window regulator and door using a socket set. Pull the old motor out of the door. Set the cars new power window motor in position. Bolt the motor to the regulator and door using a socket set. Attach the wiring connector to the motor by hand. Reinstall the cars door panel by reversing the method used to remove it. Take all the tape off the glass and door before using your Cars' new power window motor.
Hope this helps FixYa up..

My drivers side power window went down and now wont go all the way up. It will only go up about 3 inches then stops

Three inches at a time, or three inches total? If three inches at a time, you need a power window motor. If three inches total, you need a window regulator. Both these items are typically replaced as an assembly anyway.

Driver window, motor groaning, window wont come back up, stuck down, tried to pull window up manually, wont budge. Is there a way to just get the window up? Dont care if it works anymore just need the...

You have to get inside door panel, push up on the center of the bottom of the window where it connects to the bar, and as you push up someone has to push the up button at the same time. If the bearings inside the motor are crushed, because they are plastic, you may have to push with both hands. Hope this helps you.

Passenger power window put it down about 6 inches, would not go back up by either side switch. Took the door panel off and wiring is ok.

COULD BE A COUPLE OF THINGS, THE EASY THING TO DO IS TO GET A GOOD 12V BATTERY AND MAKE SOME LONG JUMPER WIRES,THEN UNPLUG THE WIRE HARNESS THAT GOES TO THE WINDOW REGULATOR OR MOTOR.NOW GET THE WIRES AND ATTACH TO BATTERY POSITIVE ,NEG,AND CAREFULLY TOUCH LEADS GOING INTO MOTOR ,YOU CAN REVERSE THEM FOR WINDOW DIRECTION.IF IT GOES UP AND DOWN WITH NO PROBLEM THEN YOU CAN ELIMINATE THE MOTOR,AND LOOK SOME WHERE ELSE....THE MOTOR MAYBE HEATING UP AND ONLY GOING DOWN A BIT THEN QUITS.OR THE SWITCH IS BROKEN .AND WONT GO UP.

My drivers side rear window is stuck down. You can hear the motor moving up and down but the window is off track and not catching to come back up. I was wondering how to remove tghe door panel so i can...

I just replaced the window regulator in my deville.Mine was doing the same thing.I found the part online for 35.00.You have to take the door panel off and remove the regulator. That's the metal track that holds the window in place.Once you get inside you disconnect the motor and then the regulator. It is held on by three bolts.Unbolt it from the window (there is two bolts for that)and take out the regulator.Install the new one the same way you took it out and reconnect the motor.Test it before putting it back together. When you unbolt the window and take out the regulator be careful. The window will fall down into the door when you take the two bolts out that hold the window. It's good to have someone with you,but you can do it yourself. The hardest part is getting the door panel off. There is 8 or 9 clips around the door from the sides to the bottom. There are 2 screws in the armrest and one underneath the door handle.be patient and good luck.

Drivers window wont go down motor is still working

You need a new window regulator with motor already installed on it, remove the door panel, handles, wiring harnesses, then there should be four to six screws holding in the regulatorblock the glass all the way to the top and remove regulator, then install the new one back into the door in the reverse order. once it's in connect the switch and watch the glass go in motion adjust as needed to make a good seal in the frame. once done, put panel back in placce with wiring, handles. put plastic cover inside door panel back in place or the road noise will be bad and you;ll have to take it all apart again. Should be able to get a new one from a salvage yard for around $100.00 to $150.00. dealerships get $325.00 plus just for the part.

Window motor expired.

If you look very closely, the motor does unscrew from the regulator. However, getting the regulator is a bi***. Remove all the bolts to loosen the regulator and carefully work it around towards the biggest opening. The neumatic little hose is bendable, but be careful. Prior to doing this, remove a switch from another door to elimate a faulty switch. The plug comes down from above. You need to stick your hand inside the door well to find it. If you need the regulator too. just go down to the junk yard and practice removing the motor and regulator.

Window wont roll up

Hi my name is Allen!

When the window falls down it is because the cable for the regulator and motor broke. The only fix is a new regulator/motor assembly from the dealership, or a good one from the junk yard if you can find one.
