10amp fuse keeps popping

Hi,
My 10 amp fuse for my dash lights, taillights, marker and parking lights keeps popping. When I replaced the fuse I pulled the light switch and it pops immediately. First time I replaced the fuse it did not pop until a few days later. Now all the time.

Check each of the terminals of those bulb you mentioned. wonder if there's a relay associated to this circuit, check for short if this is the case. remove all the light bulbs [of course - the dash may not be necessary (it's a PITA) & let's hope that it's not the culprit]. visually inspect those bulbs & replace if something unusual. put back the relay if it has no short, turn on the switch, let's hope the dash lights up & it won't blow the fuse anymore, otherwise look for uninsulated wire touching the chasssis or ay metal part of the car. you may continue replacin the bulbs.

2001 3500 chevy duramax all running lights, tail and dash lights not coming on..

The wiring diagrams on 2000 and newer models are not easy to read sometimes, but it shows a 30amp park lamp fuse and a park lamp relay. The relay is controlled by the PCM. There is also a 10amp Int - Park fuse. I think the small fuse is inside the passenger compartment and the large fuse is in the engine compartment box.
You may have to get a shop manual to get the diagrams to be able to check each circuit.

No inst. panel,parking,taillights

I would check the ground wire for the parking light circuit, especially around and in the light socket where you replaced the bulb.

Blows fuses when parking lights are turned on. Headlights work fine even running lights.

If it only happens when you turn the switchto the parking lights then it is most likely the swich that is the problem. Light swich failure appears to be a common fault with fords
