Your key is the kill switch. If you don't have a fob you can just put the key in the ignition and turn it back and forth several times (without starting the car) to turn alarm system off.

I have been told that my neutral safety switch is out on my 2006 Subaru Baja. I have a manual transmission. I didn't think manual transmissions had a neutral safety switch. Please advise.

correct, but they do have a safety interlock somewhere on the clutch that prevents starter from getting power if clutch is not pushed in.

I need to know the wiring color code for an original Subaru baja car stereo

I'm guessing their fairly universal since they nearly matched 1 to 1 to my new deck:
White/Black: Left Front -
White: Left Front
Green/Black: Left Rear -
Green: Left Rear
Grey/Black: Right Front -
Grey: Right Front
Violet/Black: Right Rear -
Violet: Right Rear
Red: 12V Switched Power
Black: Ground
Blue: Power Antenna
Orange: Illumination (not dimmed by switch)
Yellow: 12V Constant Power

If replacing you can order a wire harness from crutchfield - worked great for me!

2003 Subaru side lights stay on

hehe, this is a funny one because the solution is rather simple. I only know about this because it happened to a friend of mine I was visiting in her older subaru, nearly brought her to tears - also, later I when I got my baja I saw it in my manual.

There's a little switch on the top of the steering column that's sole purpose is to turn on those lights without the keys in or having the vehicle on. Might have been switched on accidentally when setting the clock, or by some curious means.

Hope that was it!

What do I look for on the Baja fuel leak recall?

go to http://www.internetautoguide.com/auto-recalls/09-int/2005/subaru/baja/index.html

a dealer should know about this recall too, so just take it to them and they should fix it.
