there is not a know sensor ........ may be a knock sensor and is under the intake maniful be carefull if is rusted the tread can brake so easy big problem to get it out good luck
It is under the intake manifold, will have to be pulled off and is right under it, tells the computer if the engine is misfiring or running rough, its a little complicated to change.......
That code is for your knock sensor which is located under your intake manifold. There are two under the intake. I would recommend replacing both, they are 40 dollars a piece usually plus the labor to remove the intake.
Under the intake manifold. Make sure you get the harness for the knock sensors. and clean out all of the rust and junk you're going to find donw in the holes before and after you replace the sensors.
Bad news is your knock sensor is under the intake manifold. The good news is this is a fairly easy fix as far as removing the intake goes. I assume you have the 5.3 engine? In the many cases where i have replaced the little sensors the best thing to do is replace them both while you are under there along with the harness that connects them to wiring on top of the engine and put a dam of silicone around the sensor boot so that they dont go bad again because the main cause of failure for these sensors is water intrusion into the little hole in the intake valley where they reside. Thanks for using fixya!! best of luck!!
