BELT, REPLACE
- Release belt tension and remove belt from power steering and alternator pulleys. Twist belt to get between tensioner and front cover and between power steering pulley and engine mount bracket.
- Raise and support vehicle.
- Turn wheel to the extreme right and remove right side splash shield.
- Remove belt from crankshaft and A/C compressor pulleys. Twist belt to get between idler pulley and engine mount bracket.
- Lower vehicle.
- Twisting new belt to get past the front cover, install belt around power steering pump pulley, Fig. 15. Allow belt to hang free.
- Twist belt to get between tensioner and front cover, wrap belt around alternator.
- Remove belt from power steering pulley and set aside.
- Raise and support vehicle, then twist belt to get between tensioner and front cover, wrap belt around crankshaft and A/C compressor pulleys.
- Install right side splash shield and lower vehicle.
- Position belt around power steering pulley and release tensioner.
Thats how to chnage the serpentine belt I beleive. The water pump drive belt is located on the drivers side. Please refer to:
