Need the belt diagram for the water pump belt for a 95 Auroa

Iv'e looked under the hood and all and there are no diagrams there i need the diagram for the water pump belt, engine if anyone can assist me with this would be great and also with a regualr GM puller will it take the pully off the cam shaft?

    Thats how to chnage the serpentine belt I beleive. The water pump drive belt is located on the drivers side. Please refer to:

Need the belt diagram for the water pump belt for - 42161874BELT, REPLACE

  1. Release belt tension and remove belt from power steering and alternator pulleys. Twist belt to get between tensioner and front cover and between power steering pulley and engine mount bracket.
  2. Raise and support vehicle.
  3. Turn wheel to the extreme right and remove right side splash shield.
  4. Remove belt from crankshaft and A/C compressor pulleys. Twist belt to get between idler pulley and engine mount bracket.
  5. Lower vehicle.
  6. Twisting new belt to get past the front cover, install belt around power steering pump pulley, Fig. 15. Allow belt to hang free.
  7. Twist belt to get between tensioner and front cover, wrap belt around alternator.
  8. Remove belt from power steering pulley and set aside.
  9. Raise and support vehicle, then twist belt to get between tensioner and front cover, wrap belt around crankshaft and A/C compressor pulleys.
  10. Install right side splash shield and lower vehicle.
  11. Position belt around power steering pulley and release tensioner.

No diagram but it goes over the power steering pulley, going ccw, under the top idler (back of belt on pulley), over the ac compressor, over the alternator, up over the fan (backside of belt on pulley), around the crank pulley, over the water pump (back of belt on pulley) then you're back at the ps pump. It's tightened by loosening the pump pivots and using the long exposed jack screw below the pump to move it.

Most of the time the belt diagram is under the hood. Look around maybe on top of the radiator or on the underside of the hood.

Where can i find a diagram and locate the water pump in my 95 cougar so i can replace it myself?
If you open the hood and look around the frame of the engine compartment, or on the under side of the hood, there should be a diagram available that shows the way the belts are run on your cougar. It will show you the alternator, water pump, power steering pump, crank pulley, tensioner, A/C and any extra pulleys.

Usually it is located somewhere above the crank pulley a bit to the left or right.

The main belt on my 1996 oldsmoble fell off I need a diagram to fix it can you help
belts just dont fall off. you need to find out why. ck tensioner pulley, tensioner and water pump. there is unsually a diagram under the hood. I think if you find the DAYCO website they have belt routing diagrams.

Look under the hood. Somewhere is a belt drive diagram. If you cannot find the belt routing sticker then you might just have to go to the parts store and have them order the manual for you specific car.
