I found a wire with a male plug not connected looking for a wire diagram
If you want a wiring diagram, the best place to get access to this information is alldatadiy.com. There you can have access to the same information system that I would use if you brought your vehicle to me for repair. The small annual fee is well worth it if you work on your own car.
Other than that, All I know to tell you is to scan your onboard computer system to see if any of the computer modules are reporting any circuit faults - this can possibly tell you what the wire goes to.
It is also possible that the wire is NOT SUPPOSED to be connected to anything. It may be some type of diagnostic connector or it may be a connector that is built-in to the wiring harness, but is for an option or accessory that your vehicle is not equipped with (this is very common).
If everthing is working and no problems with vehicle then the wire may not plug into anything.Wiring harnesses are made for all available options and then the options are plugged in as the car is assembled.
Wiring diagram for what system? were is this wire located and also what is the problem. note; there are many wires with connectors or ends on them that are there for testing things or for other options.

Your heater core is leaking. The smell and smoke is from the coolant evaporation.

IT IS LOCATED ON THE BACK OF ENGINE ON DRIVERS SIDE NEAR O2 SENSOR NEAR EXHAUST AND HAS 2 TORX SCREWS THAT HOLD IT IN PLACE NEAR ENGINE BRACKET ON T-5 2.3 TURBO

IT is very easy get all of the intake ducts out of the way to get access to the starter motortakk off rubber boot and first disconnect neg battery terminal next unbolt two bolts that hold starter and the 3 wires and ground terminal from starter (i have a 14 millimeter wrench that i cuit in half to make removal easier) and you should be all-set

MY THERMOSTAT FAN DOES NOT WORK
One of the reasons I was concerned was because the mechanic left out about 4 wires and 2 hoses that I put back myself . I guess you get what you pay for.
